Hiring on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams delivering complex electronic products from concept through to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams across engineering, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain
• Apply structured project management practices including planning, scheduling, risk management, issue tracking, resource allocation, and budget control
• Use and enforce a gate review process to drive project delivery and stage-gate compliance
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders
• Facilitate communication between engineering teams and internal manufacturing partners including test engineering and NPI
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs through appropriate change control processes
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards relevant to the product domain
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery processes and tools

Requirements

• 8+ years' project management experience, ideally in electronics or hardware product development
• Proven experience managing cross-functional product development projects using structured methodologies
• Familiarity across electronic hardware, embedded firmware, mechanical design, cloud/IoT platforms, and lab validation processes
• Formal PM certification required — PMP preferred; PRINCE2 or equivalent accepted
• Agile/Scrum familiarity desirable
• Proficient with project management tools — MS Project, Jira, Monday.com, Confluence, or equivalent
• Experience with PLM systems advantageous
• Degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries such as life safety, medical, or industrial controls
• Background in IoT or connected product development
